On June 3, 2003, the late Dr. Henry Paolucci was posthumously awarded the decoration of "Cavaliere in the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy",
by Minister Giorgio Radicati, Consul General of Italy in New York.
The ceremony was held at the Staten Island Botanical Garden, Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Staten Island, New York.
Dr. Paolucci was honored and remembered for his many contributions to
the fields of Science, Politics and Literature.
